Cal Mag Absorb

Cal Mag Absorb is our premier calcium supplement formulated for maximum calcium absorption, therefore requiring a lower daily dose. Studies show that the body absorbs the highest amount of calcium from supplementation when it is taken with magnesium in a ratio of 1:1. This formula achieves this ratio, and includes a very important co-factor of Betaine HCL. This important component of stomach acid allows for minerals such as calcium to be broken down for use rather than passed through the gut into stool, or worse…deposited into soft tissue such as arteries or kidneys (causing arteriosclerosis and kidney stones). Since we know stomach acid is reduced in bariatric surgery anatomy, adding this co-factor into the calcium provides a large benefit to the bariatric surgical patient. This formula is also ideal for those taking acid suppression medications. Dosing: Due to the superior absorption factors, this calcium supplement dose is 3 tablets taken together once daily. It should not be taken with other minerals, such as iron.*

Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 3 tablets daily with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Do Not take Calcium and Iron together or within 2 hours of each other.
